WHISKEY WINE & WILDLIFE ON JEKYLL ISLAND ANNOUNCES FINAL SCHEDULE

JEKYLL ISLAND, GA (January 13, 2020)Whiskey, Wine & Wildlife – W3, a  culinary event on Jekyll Island, Georgia, blends gourmands with nature, taking place February 6 – 9, 2020. W3 artfully combines legendary beverage tastings of all kinds – from all types of spirits, beers, whiskies, and wines, along with inspired cuisine from some of the south’s best chefs and local culinary superstars, with a chance to experience coastal wildlife up-close. Tickets are all-inclusive with beverage and culinary tastings for this boutique foodie event. Limited quantities advance discount tickets are still available online before January 31, 2020.

The Friday W3 Wine Cruise with Captain Phillip has already sold out; an additional Wine Cruise finale event on Sunday, February 9 from 2 – 4 pm has just been added to the schedule.

A record number of restaurants will be sampling their culinary delights on Friday night and Saturday afternoon – food and beverages all included with the ticket price for each event, including: Certified Burgers & Beverage, Halyards/Tramici/La Plancha, The Beach House Restaurant, Sea Island Resort, The Westin Jekyll Island, The Lucky Rooster Kitchen + Bar, Grand Champion BBQ, B’s Cracklin’ BBQ, One Hot Mama’s, The Whiskey Room, The Sea Pines Resort, Thrive at Fredrica and Southern Soul Barbeque.

The weekend’s events will once again raise funds and awareness for programs of the Jekyll Island Foundation.

Attendees can expect to receive a souvenir glass to sip and savor unlimited tastings of great whiskey, spirits, wine, and beer – and savor culinary delights while enjoying some great music, all oceanfront and inclusive with admission ticket. The W3 events take place with breathtaking background views of the Atlantic Ocean from the Jekyll Island Beach Village and The Westin Jekyll Island. A special “Q-Alley” will be part of the Saturday afternoon festivities, with some of the South’s most revered Pitmasters and chefs. Friday’s “Master Class Pours” series of learning seminars, which feature some premium tasting opportunities and world-renowned beverage experts, Master and Advanced sommeliers, distillers and brewmasters. Friday, February 7: NEW event, “Food & Wine Pairing Dynamics”, 4:30 – 6 pm, The Westin Jekyll Island. An opportunity to learn all about tasting and pairing wines, with a special handbook created for the session. $50 from each ticket has been designated as a donation to the Jekyll Island Foundation.

Saturday, February 8: “Whiskey, Wine & Wildlife – W3”, 1 – 4 pm, Jekyll Island Beach Village and Village Green- An afternoon of exceptional beverage and culinary tastings, great music, cooking demos- and experience the island’s native wildlife up close! Souvenir glass with unlimited culinary and beverage tastings. The popular “Sparkling Garden” will return once again with sparkling wines and beverages, sponsored by Aperol Spritz and Dasani Sparkling. Live music, oceanfront by Laiken Love and The Fellowship of Love Band. Guests will not want to miss sampling the Jack Daniels Whiskey Cocktail Challenge – and vote for their favorite bartender’s cocktail creation.
