For the past seven years Denzel has been cooking up creative and delicious meals at one of St. Augustine’s most popular restaurants, The Reef. Born in Brooklyn, NY and raised in the Ponte Vedra and St. Augustine area, he has spent his adult life working in restaurants around town. The love and excitement that he has for local cuisines, as well as traditional and fine dining will always be a passion for him. When Denzel’s not in the kitchen he enjoys spending time with his family, cooking meals for his friends, surfing and playing cornhole. He hopes to continue his career as Executive Chef at The Reef, and one day open a restaurant of his own in the place he calls home, St. Augustine, FL.
