TALENT: Kenny Gilbert
Chef Kenny Gilbert is best known for his appearance on “Top Chef” Season seven, where he instantly become one of the most likable cheftestants to date. Throughout his career, Kenny has traveled the world, staging in some of the top restaurants in Japan, Spain, France and the Caribbean. He has cooked at the James Beard House, participated in wine & food festivals around the country, cooked for the Sports Illustrated Super Bowl party and appeared on the “Today Show,” “CBS Saturday Morning,” Jacksonville’s FOX 30, the LA Times, and as a contestant on Food Network’s “Cutthroat Kitchen.” Kenny has cooked for the likes of Oprah Winfrey, Gayle King, Stedman Graham, Samuel L. Jackson and A.J Calloway, just to name a few.
In March 2015, Kenny opened Gilbert’s Underground Kitchen with his wife Anna. UK serves seasonal deep southern cuisine and is located in Fernandina Beach, FL. Kenny will be adding to his restaurant group in early 2018 with the announcement of two new restaurants being launched.

Whiskey, Wine & Wildlife is a culinary destination weekend with collaboration between The Westin Jekyll Island, the Jekyll Island Authority and The AdFish Group. The weekend’s events will raise funds and awareness for programs of the Jekyll Island Foundation, with a mission of conservation, education and historic preservation efforts on Jekyll Island.
